In 1914 Chaplin was part of one of his most well known films, this was 'The Tramp' and this film was indeed huge to say the least, it told the story of 'the tramp' who was simply living an everyday life on street while trying to get a job. After his final film 'A Countess from Hong Kong' Chaplin's health started to deteriorate, and on Christmas Day in 1977 he died in his sleep. Chaplin still lives on today due to all the classic events of his life. This true movie star will never be forgotten.

The American Film Institute charted Chaplin as the 10th 'greatest male screen legend of all time' so I think this point alone proves why we should dress up as the legend that is Charlie Chaplin.
