Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole is without a doubt one of the biggest figures in the pop world today. She is mainly known for being in Girls Aloud, as well as the massive X-factor. So it's no great surprise that there has been a huge demand for a Cheryl Cole costume and we don't like to disappoint.

Cheryl Coles career started way back in 2002, in her late teens she auditioned for the programme "Popstars The Rivals". The idea of this programme was to form a pop group by searching for individuals all across the country. Cheryl Cole managed to beat several thousand applicants to the top, and along with Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, Girls Aloud was shortly formed.

The groups first single "Sound of the Underground" was an instant chart stomper and debuted at number one in the UK charts, as well as this it became the Christmas number one of 2002. Events kept on getting better and better for the group as their debut album "Sound of the Underground" was certified platinum in 2003!

Further to this Girls Aloud scored more and more number one albums and singles. "I'll Stand by You" "Walk This Way" "The Promise" are all now well known singles! Girls Aloud greatest hits album "The Sound of Girls Aloud" also entered the chart at number one, proving to the public that Girls Aloud were not just going to be a one hit wonder. Other achievements under their belts consist of winning a Brit Award for Best British Single (The Promise) in 2009, as well as this they also secured themselves a slot in the Guinness World Records as "Most Successful Reality TV group".

In 2009 to the dismay of their loyal fan base, Girls Aloud announced a long hiatus, since then we have not seen any more releases from the group, as they have all been concentrating on their solo projects.

In 2009 Cheryl Cole decided to work on her debut solo album "3 words" this was released in October of 2009. It received great feedback from both fans and critics and happily spent two weeks at number one in the UK albums chart. The leading single of this album "Fight for This Love" become the fourth best selling single of 2009 and also took number one in the charts! After the release of her third single "Parachute" Cole took to road with Black Eyed Peas which increased her fame level even more!

In October of 2010 we saw a second solo album from Cheryl Cole "Messy Little Raindrops" this album stored her second solo number one single "Promise This". There are a lot of pop acts out there who go solo and completely fail, but Cheryl Cole has shown to the world that going solo from an extremely successful group can actually be done with ease.

At the same time all of this was happening it got announced that Cheryl Cole would be taking the place of Sharon Osbourn as a judge on the huge TV series "The X Factor" similar to "Pop Star Rivals" this show was all about finding talent across the country. She was the winning judge with singer "Alexandra Burke" as well as "Joe McElderry" in 2009. So in short I think it is safe to say the Cheryl Cole has had a pretty impressive career, and I am sure it will continue into the future.
