So the story behind Grease is pretty basic! Danny Zuko (John Travolta) is out on his summer vacation in the heat of the 70's. Upon doing so he meets Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) who he deeply falls for! As their holidays there come to an end, Sandy states that she will never see Danny again because she is moving away to Australia! Danny has no need to fear though as Sandy abruptly cancels her plans and starts at Danny's school shortly after. Once in school they see each other in a different light, Danny Zuko is actually part of the rebel cool crew T-birds (which is a popular fancy dress theme for stag parties), and Sandy is just a really quite person. The main question is will their stereotypical high school images destroy their love for each other?

Grease clearly has one of the best musical soundtracks of all time, classic songs like "Summer Nights" and "You're the One That I want" have really helped define and make this film the classic it is today! So get your costumes, wigs and shades out everyone, it's time to go back to the 70's in true style!

Grease really does prove itself against other films that came out in its time, its unique style gained it the titles of "highest Grossing Film in 1978" and at the time Grease was also the "Highest Grossing Movie Musical Ever".
