Jedward Costumes

We first saw this annoying but addicting pair when they appeared on series 6 of The X-Factor, they auditioned as a group, at this point they were not known as Jedward, they were just known as John and Edward. At their first audition Simon Cowell cut short their cover of "As Long as You Love Me" by Backstreet Boys and described the duo as "not very good and incredibly annoying". Although Simon Cowell voted to keep the guys out of the competition, judges Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh opted to keep them in the competition.

In further rounds of the competition the duo went on to perform a cover of "I Want It That Way" in front of Louis Walsh and Ronan Keating himself. Walsh praised the group and said that the performance reminded him of a younger Boyzone. At this stage John and Edward had adopted their famous group name "Jedward". In further rounds we saw renditions of "Rock DJ" and "We Will Rock You" and even a performance of the "Ghostbusters" legendary theme tune. The duo survived all the way to week 7 where Olly Murs got voted to stay in the competition over them.

This did not mark the end of Jedwards career though, since this point they have released their debut album "Planet Jedward" which charted at number 1 in the Ireland albums chart, and number 17 in the UK charts, which really is not bad at all, considering they didn't win The X-factor competition. As well as this Jedward have appeared in their own ITV2 documentary entitled "Jedward: Let Loose". This was a short series that told the story of the launch of their debut album, and it also showed behind the scenes footage from their music videos "Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)" and "All the Small Things". Obviously at times in the series the programme referred back to their time on The X-Factor.

As well as appearing on the Eurovision song contest later on in the year Jedward are also set to be releasing their second album in the summer. Jedward also have the 2009 X-factor winner Joe McElderry supporting them on their upcoming UK tour, which is slightly ironic don't you think? So for an "incredibly annoying" duo, I think it's safe to say they have done pretty well for themselves.

Right now we have the "Dedward Wigs" in stock which look extremely similar to the famous hairstyle the duo has created. We've also got a Dedward costume which again looks remarkably similar to the Jedwardss outfit. So annoy everyone today, by buying a costume and wig right now!
